The terms and conditions set below apply to the use of the Derma Biotica Organic Skincare website available at dermabiotica.co.uk. By using this website you agree to these terms and conditions. These Terms and Conditions do not affect your Statutory Rights as a consumer.

Information for Non-UK orders and deliveries

The products offered for sale on this website are directed solely at residents of the UK. Derma Biotica Organic Skincare  makes no representation that any products or services offered to in the materials or this website are appropriate for use or available in other locations. If you choose to access this site from other locations, then you are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent that local laws are applicable.

If the country of your order to be delivered is outside of the EU you may be required to pay import duties on receipt of your goods. Please be aware that these are the responsibility of the customer.

Ordering

Orders are made through our secure website. Your order is confirmed by clicking on the confirm button at the end of the online order process. A receipt will be sent to you with your payment reference by Paypal, the amount that has been debited to your credit or debit card, and an order number, which you should keep for your records.

Payment and online security

We accept payment by credit and debit cards. The credit and debit card transactions will be subject to validation checks and authorisation by your card issuer. All credit and debit card transactions are processed via our secure online partner PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to purchase. You can pay through the PayPal payment gateway using your debit or credit card or use your PayPal account if you have one. In order to maintain a high level of online security we can only accept payment via Paypal.

Returns and refunds

Our returns policy is for goods purchased on the www.dermabiotica.co.uk website, or by phone. Derma Biotica wishes you be delighted with your order. However, if for any case or reason you are not fully satisfied we refund, exchange or replace our products returned to us within 7 days of receipt and that the products are in their original, unopened, unused, sealed and undamaged condition. We consider the condition of the goods being returned when making a refund.

*All you need to do is to contact us, and preferably enclose a photo of the item in question proving its condition (in case of damage incurred during transport). Then you send the items back to us. This only applies to products being purchased online and it does not apply to products purchased from a retailer.

The goods are sent to us at your own cost and risk and we therefore recommend you choose a registered or trackable postal service. We are not liable for returned goods which are not received.

Should you wish to cancel your order and return any goods, please notify us within a period of 7 days beginning with the day following the day of delivery to you, by emailing us at dermabiotica@gmail.com or by calling us on the following number (open 10 am to 1 pm GMT, Monday to Friday) + 44 7787409137 and we will provide you with a Returns Authorisation Number. Please provide full details of the customer order number and the goods which are being returned.

Return the parcel by RECORDED DELIVERY (paid by the Purchaser) to the following address:

We are unable to accept returned sample products for resale for health and safety reasons.

If your order has been incorrectly shipped or damaged in any way, you must notify us on the contact email within 7 days of receipt of your order. We also ask you to send the damaged item and then we resend you the same product.

Derma Biotica cannot be held responsible for returned goods that do not reach our offices. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at www.hmso.gov.uk

Customs Fees

Please note that all shipments to destinations outside of the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied by the importing country at the time the shipment arrives in your country. All applicable duties, fees and any additional charges for customs clearance are your, our customer's responsibility.

Pricing and shipping

All prices indicated for each product are inclusive of VAT.
Any order placed on the www.dermabiotica.co.uk website and delivered outside of the UK may be subject to taxes and custom duties applicable in the destination country.

The Purchaser is liable for these duties and taxes and the cost is at the Purchaser expense. Derma Biotica is not required to verify and inform the Purchaser of the amount or terms of customs duties and taxes. The Purchaser is invited to ask the details from the competent authorities of his/her country.

The delivery cost does not include any applicable duty or customs tariffs that may be levied upon importation. These charges must be paid by the Purchaser. If goods are refused due to customs reasons a 20% return fee is applicable.

We aim to deliver your order within 3-5 working days after your payment is cleared. Shipping charges will be added to your order at checkout. This is calculated based on the weight and destination of your order, and also the cost of packaging and handling.

Delivery is charged at cost and is shown at checkout. Payment will be accepted in British Pounds only.

Please allow up to 21 working days for your delivery after despatch:
Europe and UK – approximately 7 working days
Rest of the World – approximately 14-21 working days

You will be responsible for the payment of any local import duties on receipt of your parcel.

Please help us and the delivery company by taking extra care with the address details.

By accepting our terms and conditions at the checkout you are instructing Derma Biotica to act as your agent to instruct our courier to deliver the relevant goods on your behalf for the delivery charge shown. Please note that all ownership, title and risk in goods will pass to you immediately at the point and time in which such goods are placed at your disposal at our premises.

Europe and UK

Postage fee is dependent on the weight of the parcel, and is in accordance with Royal Mail Group Ltd  tariffs https://www.royalmail.com/personal/sending-parcels. Free standard delivery for orders above £50.

USA
Post and packaging is £10. Free standard delivery for orders above £100

Out of stock items

If an item that you have ordered is temporarily out of stock, you will receive an email with an indication as to when you are likely to receive it.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not pass on information and we do not share your details to other parties and companies.

Medicinal policy

The traditional values of Aromatherapy remedies are well known and information is available from books, Internet and leaflets. However we are required by law to make no claim for the therapeutic qualities of the skin care that we sell. If you are taking prescription medication or are pregnant, we advise you to consult your physician that the combination of your medication and our product(s) is suitable.

Safety policy

When using please follow the safety regulations for all of our products: Before use always read attached application instructions and contraindications. All products are for external use only. The products must be kept out of reach of children. People with allergic reactions or sensitive skin should performa a skin test 24 hours before use. Avoid contact with the eyes and ears. If the product gets into the eyes or ears rinse well with tepid water. If necessary seek medical assistance.

NEVER use our products if you are allergic to any of the ingredients or have a nut allergy.

We take all reasonable care to ensure that all information on the website regarding details, descriptions and pricing is correct. We aim to keep the website up to date, but it is possible that some of the product details will be subject to change. We do not accept any liability for any harm caused by improper use of the products sold on this site, or any negative consequences experienced from use of the information on this site. If you use this site you are accepting full liability and are indemnifying us against any claim.

All claims made on this website are based on the experiences our customers have shared with us, the teachings of Western Herbalism, Aromatherapy and the findings of research or studies made on the ingredients we put into our formulations.
